I base this on a visit to the school, which was in session with students. I toured the school with the principal. One classroom I visited had the shades closed, no teacher smiled or greeted me. So the room was DARK instead of filled with sunshine of the day. The children were playing during what was called "free play ." To me, it was a hectic mess with kids doing as they pleased. It was frantic. The classroom was also disorganized and messy. I could not stand ten minutes and couldn't imagine sending any child there all day. There was one class that seemed organized. When asked the principal said that the main teachers do not need to have a teaching degree but have bachelor degrees in something. I guess if you are interested in daycare it is okay but I was not impressed with it as a school setting.

I used to go here and it was one of the best schools I've ever been to. Everyone was very kind, and there were great teachers.

Very friendly staff, building in excellent condition

Serenity personified

Our son has been attending Beth Chaim preschool for about a year. The educational program is excellent! The facility is nice, but it's the academics and really shine. The staff are experienced professional teachers and seem to be long time employees. The stability and consistency make the environment excellent and homey. The director just won an award for early childhood education - truly an excellent place.
